Explore the technology of Amazon’s Fulfilment Centres

From our online store to your doorstep, discover how computer science, state-of-the-art engineering, and incredible people deliver customer orders at Amazon.

A virtual school trip for every future engineer
Computer science focus:
Aligned to the UK national curriculum, this 45 minute interactive tour explores how algorithms, machine learning, and more power our fulfilment process.
Workforce exposure:
During the tour, students travel to different “tour stops” to learn how our fulfilment system works. They will also meet the real-life engineers who brought the technology to life.
Download our Teacher Toolkit to get a facilitation guide, worksheets, certificates, and extension learning opportunities to support students during and after the tour.
Hosting a tour provides the best experience for classrooms, allowing teachers to run their own tour and enable students to compete against their classmates as they explore the technology and careers of the future. Choose either a tour for primary or secondary students. Each tour has 2 ways to watch: A full tour (45 - 60 min) or split in half to tour over multiple days (25 - 30 min each day).
For solo learners or classrooms without 1:1 devices, utilise our single-player tours. Use and share the links below to access these tours. Students can move through the Kahoot! at their own pace and compete against previous players. Teachers can also use these tours to project on the screen if they do not have student devices.
Our Teacher Toolkit provides educators with a facilitation guide, student worksheets, and extension activities, all aligned to the UK national curriculum. Use these materials to discover all of the possibilities with computer science learning and to set students up for success, before, and after the tour
